Delhi Polls: BJP claims to win 50 seats, the party will file a case against Sanjay Singh for buying MLAs

BJP has claimed that it will win at least 50 seats in Delhi. After the review meeting held yesterday, party president Virendra Sachdeva said that after the feedback received from party workers and the response from the public, it has come to light that the party has managed to gain lead in many areas where traditionally it has not been able to perform well till now.

 

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has alleged that BJP is trying to buy seven of its MLAs for Rs 15 crore each. BJP has strongly reacted to Sanjay Singh's statement and said that if Sanjay Singh does not apologize for his statement, a defamation case will be filed against him.

 

In fact, BJP had called a review meeting of all its assembly candidates and election observers on Thursday. Party's central leader Shiv Prakash, in-charge Baijayant Jai Panda, co-in-charge Atul Garg, state president Virendra Sachdeva, all MPs and other senior leaders participated in it. In this meeting, the leaders reviewed each seat separately and discussed the possibilities of victory and defeat on each seat. After this review meeting, BJP leader Virendra Sachdeva said that BJP can win 50 out of 70 seats in Delhi.

 

Sachdeva said that inspired by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, women, slum voters and youth voted for BJP in large numbers over any other party. He said that on the strength of these people of Delhi, BJP is claiming its victory. He said that after the formation of the government, every expectation of these sections would be fulfilled.
