There is no complaint with the bowlers, but we need to improve in batting. Especially there is a need to score runs in the middle overs. Fielding is also an aspect where we can improve. This format demands courage from you. I believe that we need to play bold game as a team and batting unit. I am sure that the batsmen are also thinking so. Angkrish batted well."

KKR won the toss against Gujarat Titans and decided to bowl first, which did not prove right for them. Batting first, Sai Sudarshan and captain Shubman Gill made a great start for Gujarat.
