Dengue cases are continuously increasing in Karnataka. The state government has now geared up to control them. CM informed through social media that in the last few days, more than seven thousand dengue cases have been reported across the state. Of these, more than four thousand cases were from Bangalore city alone.
Siddaramaiah said that he spoke to the officials of the concerned department about the rapid spread of dengue. Instructed them to take all necessary precautionary measures. Effective measures including spraying of medicines, and identifying and cleaning places where water accumulates are being adopted to control mosquitoes in Bengaluru.
