The US has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to violence-hit areas of Pakistan. Issuing an advisory to its citizens, the US said that there is a danger of terrorism and communal violence in Pakistan. Because of this threat, travel in high-risk areas in Pakistan should be reconsidered. In a Level 3 travel advisory issued on Thursday, the US State Department urged its citizens not to travel to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province, including Balochistan and the former Union Territory of Tribal Area (FATA), due to terrorism and kidnapping incidents.

 

The US issued an advisory saying, "Reconsider your visit to Pakistan due to terrorism and communal violence. There is an increased risk in some areas." A "Level-three" travel warning is issued when long-term or severe conditions pose a risk to travelers and visitors, and when non-essential travel is considered necessary. Is. The US has also advised its citizens not to travel around the Line of Control (LoC) due to the threat of terrorism and armed conflict.


"Terrorists can strike with little or no warning," the advisory said. They can target transportation hubs, markets, shopping malls, military installations, airports, universities, tourist sites, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and government facilities. Terrorists have carried out attacks on US diplomats and diplomatic installations in the past."
