Atishi wrote in her letter, 'I am writing this letter to you on behalf of lakhs of mothers and sisters of Delhi and want to remind you that on Wednesday, January 31, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the mothers and sisters of Delhi in a rally held in Dwarka that as soon as the BJP government is formed, the plan to give ₹ 2500 per month will be passed in the first cabinet meeting and money will start coming into the accounts of women on Women's Day. Therefore, he advised all the women to link their mobile number to their bank account, so that when money comes into their account, they can get information about it on their phone.
He further wrote, 'Now only one day is left for Women's Day. Women of the entire Delhi are eagerly waiting for this day. They are hoping that the first installment will start coming into their accounts from March 8, as promised by the BJP. Chief Minister, to give the women of Delhi their rights, money should be transferred to their accounts immediately. Every woman of Delhi is looking towards you, their hopes should not be broken. I have full hope that tomorrow our mothers and sisters of Delhi will get a message on their mobile that they have received Rs 2500 in their accounts.'
