Indian Air Force pilot and astronaut, 39-year-old Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla flew on the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). A few hours after takeoff, he released his first message from space.
What did Shubhanshu Shukla say?
While releasing the message from space, Shubhanshu Shukla said- "Hello everyone from space. I am thrilled to be here with my fellow astronauts. Wow, what a journey it was. When I was sitting in the capsule on the launchpad, the only thought in my mind was let's just go."
When the journey started, it was something like this - you were being pushed back on the seat. It was an amazing journey. And then suddenly nothing felt like you were floating in the void. I am learning like a child, how to walk and eat in space. - Indian Air Force pilot and astronaut- Shubhanshu Shukla
