Farmer Protest: Women came to show the border to their children, and said - it is here that the farmers of Punjab were attacked.

The atmosphere remained peaceful at the Shambhu border on Sunday. However, there was a lot of crowd at the border. Even women reached the border with their children. The women said that they had brought their children to show the border.

 

 

She is telling the children that it is here that the farmers of Punjab have been oppressed so that they too get inspired and have to take this fight forward in the future. However, the Haryana government is still maintaining strict security arrangements on the bridge.

 

 

Near the border, there are barbed iron wires with big nails and then after strong cement barricades, heavy security forces have been deployed. The police force is also deployed near the river so that farmers cannot proceed from there. On the other hand, the farmers have also placed a rope about one kilometer before the border.

 

On the other hand, according to the program decided by the farmer leaders, experts were called on Sunday to discuss how WTO is affecting the farming sector. Speaking to the media, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the central government says that if the legal guarantee of MSP is given on all 23 crops, there will be inflation in the market.

 

But he disagrees with this. Pandher claimed that with the legal guarantee of MSP, the prices of goods in the market will be under control and not increase. Also said that WTO is not in the interest of farmers in any way. Due to this, farmers will not get fair prices for their crops.

 

 

On this occasion, Pandher alleged that farmer Pritpal Singh, who was shifted from Rohtak PGI to Chandigarh, had been tortured by the Haryana Police. He was beaten badly, due to which his left leg was broken and many other parts of his body were seriously injured. But at present his condition is stable.

 

 

A large convoy of tractor-trolleys was seen on the Shambhu border on Sunday, in which farmers were eating langar and at some places, farmers were resting. Regarding the houses built on the border, farmers Kulwant Singh and Satwant Singh said that they are used as offices during the day. These are used for sleeping at night. The farmers said that now that the war has to be fought, then arrangements will have to be made.
