New Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS) A foggy morning in Delhi Wednesday led to the delay of over 40 trains, as the visibility slumped to 800 metres, said an official.
According to Northern Railway, due to fog, 46 trains were running late, three were rescheduled and one was cancelled.
"Delhi would witness a partly overcast day ahead with light rain in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 17 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature of the day settled at 9.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 90 percent.
