New Delhi, March 16 (IANS) Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said that Delhi Police followed standard procedure to collect information about Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting to, Congress leader of the Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge's request to suspend the question hour till the time Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives a clarification regarding the alleged snooping on Rahul Gandhi, Naidu said the government followed procedure laid down since 1957.
"We are ready to discuss any issue in the house but the question hour cannot be suspended. We are very clear about the issue and we have followed procedure that has been in place since 1957," Naidu said.
