Good news for women and girls traveling in Delhi Metro, you can also win prizes

Delhi Metro, which has made its mark in the country and the world due to its facilities and facilities, keeps on making people aware from time to time on social issues as well. In this episode, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has started a slogan and poetry writing competition on Tuesday because of International Women's Day. In this competition, women writing beautiful slogans and poems will be awarded prizes from DMRC. This competition has started and any woman traveling in Delhi Metro can participate in it.

 

According to DMRC, women passengers traveling in Delhi Metro can take part in this competition. The women participating in the competition will have to post a slogan or poem on the topic "Gender Equality Today for a Stronger Tomorrow" through DMRC's website by March 14. DMRC will announce the names of the winners on March 25. The winners will be paid some cash amount in the prize.

 

Women can share their journey in the form of poetry

 

According to the officials of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, in this slogan and poetry writing competition, women and girls traveling in the metro train can send their experience in the form of poetry and send it to us.

 

Let us inform you here that at present, the front compartment in Delhi Metro is reserved for women. Due to this, a large number of women take advantage of the reserved compartment. Along with this, there is talk of increasing the number of reserved coaches.

 

BJP leader and former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi, in her letter sent to the DMRC chief a few years back, has demanded to reserve three metro coaches for women. It was argued that there is no problem in reserving 3 coaches for women in a metro which has 8 coaches. Similarly, in a metro that has only 6 coaches, instead of 3, only 2 coaches can be reserved for women.
