Gill did not shake hands with Hardik.

Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill, both are big stars of the Indian cricket team, but recently during the eliminator match of IPL 2025, something was seen, which made it seem that everything is not well between them. Not once, but twice the fight was seen.

First of all, during the toss in the match, when Hardik stepped forward to shake hands with Gill, Gill ignored Hardik's hand and walked ahead without shaking hands. It seemed as if he had deliberately ignored Hardik. People made this video clip his viral and wrote that there is something wrong between the two players. Fans started calling it "ego clash" or "discord".

After this, when Gill was batting, when his wicket fell, the way Hardik celebrated aggressively was worth watching. Hardik was seen celebrating vigorously in front of Gill.

People also raised questions on whether Hardik's celebration was just the joy of taking the wicket or did it also include any resentment towards Gill. Due to both these reasons, it was speculated whether everything is really fine between Gill and Hardik or not.

Gill will captain England.

After IPL 2025, the Indian team is to tour England next month, where after Rohit Sharma's retirement from Tests, the captaincy of this format has been given to Shubman Gill. The 5-match series is scheduled to begin from June 20. The Indian team will end the tour on August 4.
