Vande Mataram will resonate on the Kartavya Path.

This time, the tableaux passing through the Kartavya Path in the 77th Republic Day parade will be special, despite being theme-based. These tableaux will not only resonate with Vande Mataram, but will also feature scenes from Operation Sindoor. Some tableaux will showcase the country's culture, heritage, and progress, while for the first time, a glimpse of Indian cinema will also be seen.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Defense Ministry officials at the National Stadium announced that a total of 30 tableaux from 17 states and union territories and 13 central government departments will participate in this year's parade. The theme of the tableaux is "Vande Mataram, the mantra of freedom, and Atmanirbhar Bharat, the mantra of prosperity."

With the central theme of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram and a self-reliant India, the 30 tableaux from states, union territories, and ministries will showcase unity, self-reliance, and inclusive national progress. Tableaus from Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, the Ministry of Culture, and the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development will showcase the glorious saga of Vande Mataram over 150 years. The Department of Military Affairs' tableau will showcase the victories of last year's Operation Sindoor.

Himachal Pradesh's tableau will depict "Dev Bhoomi - Veer Bhoomi," and Maharashtra's tableau will portray the concept of Ganeshotsav. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's tableau will be special, with the theme "Bharat Katha: Shruti, Kriti, and Drishti." This tableau will showcase Indian cinema's journey to duty for the first time. Renowned film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will reportedly lead this grand cinematic presentation. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani will present a new rendition of "Vande Mataram," adding a cultural dimension to the parade.
