According to the preliminary data of Sacknilk, the film's earnings on the second Friday i.e. the eighth day was Rs 9 crore. However, the exact collection may be more or less than this.

'Hanu Man' was released in theaters along with Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Karam' and Dhanush's 'Captain Miller'. However, while the condition of both these films deteriorated within eight days, 'Hanu Man' is still making waves at the box office. On the eighth day, 'Guntur Karam' earned Rs 3 crore, while Dhanush's 'Captain Miller' made a business of Rs 1 crore.

Although 'Hanu Man' was released worldwide on January 12, a day before, its pre-release event was also held at some places in the South, in which the film made a mark of around Rs 4 crore at the domestic box office.
