Haryana Elections: Congress' fort destroyed, BJP's stronghold strengthened, this community distanced itself from the Jats

In this election, the Hooda faction could not win the mayoral post even in Rohtak and Sonipat Municipal Corporations, which are considered to be the strongholds of the Congress.

 

The Congress, which entered the election fray with broken morale and without any organization, was completely wiped out in the corporation elections this time. On the other hand, the BJP emerged stronger than before in this election. Its position has become stronger in GT Belt and Ahirwal.

 

The BJP has won in all the corporations except Manesar. Congress has no hand behind the victory of the independent candidate in Manesar either. There, the independent candidate won in the name of Union Minister Rao Indrajit Singh.

The Congress, which entered the fray with poor management, did not appear united anywhere. The campaign of the Congress was also very weak. The Jat and Scheduled Caste voters, who were seen standing against the BJP in the assembly elections, were also not seen together in the civic elections. Congress had put in some effort in Rohtak Municipal Corporation, despite this, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, who made Rohtak his stronghold by being the CM for ten years, could not get the mayor elected here. Selja's father Chaudhary Dalbir Singh became a Union Minister after becoming an MP from Sirsa. Selja has also become an MP from Sirsa for the third time. Sirsa is considered to be Selja's stronghold, but Selja could not get the party to win in her stronghold.

 

BJP became stronger, lotus bloomed in the entire state

 

In this civic election, BJP kept its fort intact and snatched away the strongholds of Hooda and Selja. BJP has already been strong in the districts of GT belt. After Rao Indrajit came on board, Ahirwal has also become a stronghold of BJP.

 

Despite BJP having the state office, Congress was in a strong position in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Rohtak and Sonipat, but based on a well-planned strategy, efforts of the central and state governments and organizational strength, BJP demolished this strong fort of Congress.

 

Sirsa, which is adjacent to Rajasthan and Punjab, is also considered a stronghold of Congress. Despite vigorous campaigning and hard work, BJP lost the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections from here. This time BJP made this seat a matter of prestige.

BJP also played the emotional card to make inroads into Selja's stronghold. At the same time, MLA Gokul Setia from Sirsa from Congress was seen standing almost alone. Voters from Scheduled Caste and Jat community used to strengthen Congress on this seat.
