Hinnamnor Typhoon Alert: Destructive storm Hinnamnor ready to knock in South Korea, high alert declared

The threat of a severe cyclonic storm Hinnamnor is looming in South Korea. Because of this severe cyclonic storm, the government has suspended some business operations and closed schools, apart from canceling flights, to avoid any untoward incident. A high level of alert has been declared in the country.

 

Effect visible in many areas

 

According to the information, before the Hinamanor storm, there was heavy rain with a strong wind in the southern part with wind speed up to 24 kmph in many parts of the country. Hinamor is expected to make landfall southwest of the port city of Busan in the early hours of Tuesday. President Yoon Suk-you said on Monday he was on emergency standby. He said that orders have already been given to the authorities to deal with the situation. He said that it is our endeavor that there should be minimum damage due to this severe storm.

 

Heavy rain forecast with strong wind

 

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said, 'Due to the storm, there is a possibility of very strong winds and heavy rain across the country from Tuesday. Also, high waves are expected in the coastal area. According to KMA, 'Hurricane Hinamor is moving towards Sapporo in northeast Japan. South Korea has divided this storm into four classes - normal, strong, very strong, and super strong, and by reaching South Korea, the storm will take a very severe form.

 

Alert declared regarding Himanor

 

According to the information, the wind speed in South Korea is likely to be up to 53 meters per second. Warnings have been issued to southern cities, including Gwangju, Busan, Daegu, and Ulsan, to deal with the storm. The Central Disaster and Security Countermeasures Headquarters on Sunday raised its cyclone alert level to four, for the first time in the last five years.

 

Please tell us that it has rained on the weekend in Busan city and its surrounding areas. However, heavy rain is expected in the country on Monday and Tuesday. No casualties have been reported so far. At the same time, more than 100 people have been evacuated from the dangerous places so far.
