After America, now preparations are underway for deportation from the UK as well. The UK's Labour government has launched a massive campaign against illegal immigrants. This campaign focuses especially on small businesses like Indian restaurants, nail bars, grocery stores, and car washes.

 

Recently 828 places were raided. In this, 609 people were arrested. Most of the arrested people are Punjabis, who went to the UK on study or tourist visas. They were living illegally in the UK when their visas expired.

 

Seven people were arrested in a raid at an Indian restaurant in Humberside, northern England, of which four were taken into custody. Since the Labour government came to power, about 19,000 foreign criminals and illegal immigrants have been expelled from the country.

 

Among them, most are Punjabis. As a result of this strict action, heavy fines are also being imposed on employers who employ illegal immigrants. The owner may have to pay a fine of up to 60,000 pounds (Rs 60 lakh) for keeping an illegal employee.
