The Indian team on Sunday registered its sixth consecutive win by defeating defending champions England by 100 runs in the 29th match of the World Cup 2023. Despite this spectacular victory, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was not satisfied with the performance of his team. Rohit Sharma has vented his anger on the batsmen.

 

Let us tell you that in the match played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, India batted first and scored 229 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, the England team collapsed for 129 runs in 34.5 overs. With this victory, India has almost confirmed its place in the semi-finals.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma said after the match that batting first was a challenge. He also said that our batsmen scored 30 runs less than expected.

Captain Rohit Sharma was very impressed with the fast bowlers of the Indian team and he also said that there is a lot of variety in the bowling attack in the team.
