England all-rounder David Willey has been ruled out for the entire season. He played four matches for RCB this season and took three wickets. In place of Willie, the team management on Monday announced the name of former Chennai Super Kings star Kedar Jadhav as a replacement. Kedar will be a part of the RCB team for the rest of the season.
Jadhav, who made his IPL debut in 2010, has so far played 93 IPL matches and has 1,196 runs. Right-handed batsman Kedar, who has previously represented RCB in 17 matches, has now been roped in by RCB again for his base price of Rs 1 crore. The 38-year-old Maharashtra all-rounder has scored 1,389 runs in 73 ODIs for India and has also taken 27 wickets with his off-break bowling.
Kedar also played nine T20Is for India in which he scored 58 runs. He was not bought by any team in the auction this year. He was currently involved in the Marathi commentary panel. Now he will be seen playing for Bangalore.
