Jasprit Bumrah made a big jump in the ICC Test Rankings, Kohli-Jadeja suffered a loss

ICC Latest Test Rankings: In the latest Test rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has made his place in the top 5 bowlers, he has jumped 6 places to the fourth position with 830 points. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has slipped to 9th place in the ranking of batsmen and Ravindra Jadeja has slipped to second place in the all-rounder's ranking.

 

In the Bangalore Test against Sri Lanka, Jasprit Bumrah showed the way to the pavilion to a total of 8 batsmen with the first 5 wicket haul on home soil. He has moved up to fourth place, leaving behind Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, James Anderson, Neil Wagner, and Josh Hazlewood.

 

On the other hand, Sri Lankan captain Dimuth Karunaratne has jumped three places to reach the top 5 in the batsmen's rankings. Karunaratne scored a century in the second innings of the Bangalore Test against India but he could not save the team from defeat. This is the career-best ranking of Karunaratne. He is now in the top 5 along with Marnus Labuschagne, Joe Root, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson.

 

West Indies' Nkrumah Bonner and India's Shreyas Iyer made big jumps, moving up 22 and 40 places to be at 22nd and 37th places, respectively. Bonner scored an unbeaten 38 and 123 in the first draw against England in Antigua last week, while Iyer scored 92 and 67 in the Bengaluru Test against Sri Lanka to win the man of the match award. Jack Crawley's 121 in the second innings against the West Indies saw him jump 13 places to 49th.

 

Talking about Virat Kohli, after scoring 23 and 13 runs in both the innings of the Bangalore Test, he has dropped four places to 9th position.

 

At the same time, in the ranking of all-rounders, Jason Holder has regained the first position, beating Ravindra Jadeja. Holder took three wickets in the first Test against England, scoring 82 runs.
