Kangana Ranaut Slapped: Family in support of Kulwinder Kaur, brother Sher Singh told the inside story of the slapping incident

Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF female constable who came into the news after slapping Bollywood Queen and newly elected BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport, is the daughter of a poor farmer from Kapurthala. After this incident came to light through the media, the entire family of Mand Mahiwal village of Sultanpur Lodhi sub-division of Kapurthala district came out in support of Kulwinder Kaur. According to Kulwinder Kaur's brother Sher Singh Mahiwal, who lives in Mand Mahiwal, a small village that faces the onslaught of river Beas, Kulwinder Kaur had a heated argument with Kangana over security, after which the bitterness increased.

 

In a phone conversation farmer leader Sher Singh Mahiwal said that the one who slapped Kangana Ranaut was his younger sister Kulwinder Kaur. They have six siblings and she got married to Simran Singh of Jammu six years ago. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Kulwinder Kaur has been posted at Chandigarh airport for the last two years.

 

He said that both husband and wife work in CISF. He said that he came to know through the media that this incident had happened. He was on duty at the airport, but now it has come to light that during his security duty, he argued with Kulwinder Kaur while checking Kangana Ranaut's purse and phone on the scanner.

 

According to him, Kangana said that she is the MP of Mandi, to which Kulwinder Kaur said that she did not know, on this, they had a heated argument and the matter became bitter. He said that he supports the step taken by Kulwinder Kaur due to the bitterness increasing over the way Kangana makes statements about the daughters and mothers of Punjab. In this matter, he is completely ready for every kind of fight and action.

 

Unable to contact Kulwinder's family - Sher Singh

 

Shaktar of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Sher Singh Mahiwal expressed apprehension that since this incident, he has been trying to contact Kulwinder Kaur, her husband, and both young children, but has not been able to contact them yet. He said that he is worried that something wrong may happen to him. That is why he is leaving for Chandigarh immediately.

 

Villagers started gathering in Kulwinder Kaur's village Mahiwal

 

After the case of the incident of CISF woman constable Kulwinder Kaur came to light, villagers and leaders of farmers' organizations started gathering in Mand Mahiwal village situated on the banks of river Beas in Sultanpur Lodhi.
