Punjab is badly affected by floods these days. Many Bollywood celebs are coming forward to help the flood-affected people of Punjab. In this episode, actor Sonu Sood has visited the flood-affected area. He has posted pictures of this visit on social media and has talked about helping the people.

In the pictures that Sonu Sood has shared on Instagram, he can be seen sitting on a boat. He is visiting the flood-affected area. He is meeting common people and talking to them. He wrote in the caption with the pictures, 'Always with Punjab. We were on the ground. We saw the pain of loss, heartbreak. We also saw the strength that did not diminish. Villages are submerged in water, lives are destroyed, but hope still remains. Whatever Punjab needs, we are ready to help. Ready to rebuild. Ready to heal the wounds together. We are with Punjab, forever.'

 

Met a child suffering from kidney disease

On Sunday, Sonu Sood met a little boy in Punjab, who is reportedly suffering from kidney disease. He said that he will do everything possible to help him recover.

 

He shared pictures from the hospital on X, in which he is seen meeting the child and his family.

 

Treatment will not be affected due to floods.

Sonu Sood wrote, 'Met little Avijot in Punjab today. He has a big battle ahead. We will do everything possible to help him recover. Wishing this little angel a speedy recovery. He is not alone.'

 

On September 5, Sood said that he had spoken to the boy's family and assured them that 'his treatment will not be hampered' due to the floods.

 

Sonu talked about helping people.

Speaking to ANI, Sonu Sood said, 'I am going to Baghpur, Sultanpur Lodhi, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Ajnala, and I will go around and try to find out the situation. It is still raining in Punjab, many houses have been destroyed, and people's livelihoods have been ruined, so I will try to help as much as I can. I will take a list of their needs from the local administration.'
