Karnataka: Allegations of voter ID scam in Karnataka, Congress complains about BJP ministers to the Election Commission

State Congress leaders today lodged a complaint with the State Election Commission in Bengaluru over the alleged Voter ID scam in Karnataka. In this, the ministers of the state and a private organization have been accused of rigging.

 

 

A party delegation led by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar reached the state election office in Bengaluru. He alleged a scam by the ministers regarding the collection of voter IDs. Congress leaders alleged that the ruling BJP government was stealing voters' data. Electoral fraud is being done through a private organization.

 

 

DK Shivakumar accused the minister CN Ashwath Narayan and his team of perpetrating the biggest fraud. He was also accused of misusing voter ID data, fraudulently collecting information, and deleting the names of lakhs of voters. The Congress leaders demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Bommai and an inquiry into the matter by the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court.

 

Ready to face investigation: CM Bommai

On the other hand, CM Basavaraj Bommai has rejected Congress's allegations of voter ID rigging. He said that he is ready to face the investigation in this matter.
