According to media reports, the SFJ has issued a statement stating that Diljit Dosanjh, by touching the feet of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on "Kaun Banega Crorepati 17," has insulted every victim, widow, and orphan of the 1984 Sikh genocide. The organization further alleges that Amitabh Bachchan publicly incited Indian mobs on December 31, 1984, by chanting "Khoon ka abdala khoon" (blood for blood), resulting in the killing of numerous Sikhs across India.

Recently, Diljit Dosanjh arrived on the set of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 17' and immediately touched the feet of show host-actor Amitabh Bachchan. Big B called the singer the son of Punjab, and the two embraced. This sparked controversy.

 

Demand to cancel the upcoming concert

Organizations have demanded a boycott of Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming concert. They say the singer has "made a mockery of Memorial Day."
