Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an organization led by Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, has threatened Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. They have also called for the cancellation of his music concert in Australia on November 1st. The group alleges that the singer's actions insult the victims of the 1984 genocide. Let's explore the full story.
This is an insult to the victims of the 1984 riots.
According to media reports, the SFJ has issued a statement stating that Diljit Dosanjh, by touching the feet of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on "Kaun Banega Crorepati 17," has insulted every victim, widow, and orphan of the 1984 Sikh genocide. The organization further alleges that Amitabh Bachchan publicly incited Indian mobs on December 31, 1984, by chanting "Khoon ka abdala khoon" (blood for blood), resulting in the killing of numerous Sikhs across India.
Diljit Dosanjh appeared on 'KBC 17'
Recently, Diljit Dosanjh arrived on the set of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 17' and immediately touched the feet of show host-actor Amitabh Bachchan. Big B called the singer the son of Punjab, and the two embraced. This sparked controversy.
Demand to cancel the upcoming concert
Organizations have demanded a boycott of Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming concert. They say the singer has "made a mockery of Memorial Day." They also said this is an injustice to the victims, and therefore, they have called for the singer's concert scheduled for November 1st to be canceled. November 1st is observed as Sikh Genocide Memorial Day.
