Comedian Kunal Kamra is constantly in the headlines after making controversial comments about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde with the help of a film song. All Shinde supporters including Shiv Sena MP say that Kunal will have to apologize to Shinde immediately. Amidst the continuous rhetoric, Kunal Kamra released his detailed statement late on Monday night. Kamra said that he did not say anything for which he should apologize. In a detailed statement released on his official X handle, he said, 'I will not apologize. What I said is the same as what Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has also said.'

According to Kamra, Ajit Pawar has also made comments like 'treachery' about Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He said that he was not afraid of this crowd. Kamra said, he will not hide under his bed and wait for this incident to calm down. On the controversial remarks of the 36-year-old comedian, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, Kamra should apologize for his comments.
