Liquor policy scam: Today is the last day of Kejriwal's judicial custody, CBI's fourth charge sheet will also be heard

Today is the last day of judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the CBI case related to the Delhi Excise Policy scam. In such a situation, CBI will present Delhi CM in Rouse Avenue Court today on Tuesday and request to extend his custody. At the same time, Kejriwal's lawyer will demand his bail.

 

The court can take cognizance of the chargesheet

 

In this case, the fourth chargesheet filed by CBI will be heard in Rouse Avenue Court today on Tuesday. The court of Special Judge Kaveri Baveja will hear the case.

 

It is worth mentioning that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by CBI on June 26. He is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail in judicial custody. At the same time, he got interim bail from the Supreme Court in the ED case (money laundering case) related to the liquor policy. ED arrested Delhi CM on March 21 this year.
