However, the fire started much earlier, so people were evacuated from the surroundings. So when the dome fell, there was no damage of any kind. Officials said that no one was injured in the accident.

The local administration said that the dome has been destroyed due to the fire. According to Indonesian media, firefighters were notified of the blaze at 3 p.m. local time. After this 10 fire engines were sent. But the fire was so severe that the dome was not saved from collapsing. No official statement has been issued about how the dome caught fire. However, according to the media, renovation work was going on in the dome. It is feared that the fire may have started during this time.
