Nagaland and Telangana government decide complete lockdown, know how long will it stop?

The Nagaland government decided on Tuesday to implement a full lockdown for seven days from May 14 because of the sharp increase in Covid-19 cases. At the same time, the Telangana government has also announced a 10-day lockdown from May 12 because of the rise in Corona cases in the state.

 

There will be a ban in Nagaland for a week

Regarding Covid-19 in Nagaland, State Government spokesperson and Minister Niba Kronu said that the High-Level Committee on Covid-19 has decided to implement a week-long statewide full lockdown from 6 pm to 21 May on 14 May. He said that the decision was taken in a meeting of the committee chaired by Chief Minister Nefue Rio on Tuesday.

 

Corona cases increased in the state

The number of coronavirus cases in Nagaland increased to 16283 on Monday. On Monday, 133 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in the state. The total number of deaths in the state so far has reached 150 due to this virus. The maximum number of cases came in Dimapur (88) while in the state capital Kohima, 13 new cases were reported in a day.

 

10 days lockdown from May 12 in Telangana

The Telangana government has also announced a 10-day lockdown from May 12 because of increasing cases of coronavirus in the state. In Telangana, 4976 new cases have been reported in one day. Earlier on Saturday, 5186 new cases were registered within 24 hours. So far, the total number of corona victims in the state reached 4 lakh 97 thousand 361.
