NTA has re-declared the results of NEET candidates today, July 20, following the instructions received during the hearing in the Supreme Court on the NEET case on July 18. Candidates can download their revised scorecard by visiting the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
Hearing more than 40 petitions, the Supreme Court directed the NTA to re-release the NEET result city and center-wise. For this, the apex court had given the Center time till noon today, July 20.
How to check the result
To see the result, first of all, you have to go to the official website
https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
The link to view the revised scorecard is active on the main page of the website itself.
Click on this link.
After clicking, click on the link "Click here for NEET 2024 Revised Score Card!"
Now enter the required login credentials like application number, date of birth email ID mobile number, and security pin.
The result will open on the screen.
Instructions were given to keep the identity of the students hidden.
In the hearing held on July 18, a bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra directed the NTA to release the results while maintaining the confidentiality of the identity of the students.
The Supreme Court is expected to give its final verdict on July 22 after reviewing the petitions seeking cancellation of the examination, re-examination, and court-monitored investigation into the allegations of malpractice.
Counseling will start soon.
Before the July 18 hearing on the NEET case, the Center had said that the process of NEET UG counseling (NEET UG 2024 Counseling Date) can start in the third week of July, which will be held in 4 rounds.
On the other hand, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) recently issued a notice to all medical colleges asking them to upload complete details of the seats on the portal. For this, colleges have been given time till today, July 20. Asking for details of seats from colleges also indicates that NEET UG counseling may start soon.
