Well-known singer Udit Narayan is in the news these days. He is being badly trolled on social media for kissing a fan at a concert. After the kiss controversy, he called it the madness of the fans and now once again he has given his statement on this.

Udit Narayan had lip-kissed a female fan at a concert. A video of him surfaced on social media in which the singer is singing the song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from the film Mohra when a female fan comes to him to ask for a selfie and while taking a photo, the fan kisses the singer on the cheek. After this, Udit Narayan kisses her on the lips.

Udit Narayan spoke on the lip kiss controversy.

As soon as the video surfaced on social media, 69-year-old Udit Narayan is being badly trolled. Earlier, he called it decent in his clarification and now in a new interview, he has once again reacted to this controversy.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the singer said-

"Have I ever done anything to embarrass myself, my family, or my country? Then why would I do anything at this stage of my life when I have achieved everything? There is a deep, pure, and unbreakable bond between me and my fans. What you saw in the so-called scandalous video was an expression of love between me and my fans. They love me. I love them even more."

Not embarrassed by kissing

The singer further said that he is not at all embarrassed for kissing a female fan. He took a dig at those who saw dirt in it. According to the singer-

"Why should I feel embarrassed? Do you hear any regret or sadness in my voice? I am laughing while talking to you. This is not a dirty or secret thing. All this is public. My heart is clean. If some people want to see something dirty in my work of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them. I also want to thank them, because now they have made me more famous than before."

The question raised on video going viral

Udit Narayan further said that he has won National, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, and Filmfare Awards. He has sung the most songs in his time. In such a situation, why should he care about those people who cannot tolerate the success of others? He also raised the question as to why this video came out after months. He indicated that this video is from a concert in the US or Canada.
