New corona cases are decreasing in Delhi, 12481 cases confirmed in 24 hours, infection rate reached 17.76 percent

New Delhi: There is news of relief for the national capital Delhi. There is a continuous decrease in new cases of the corona. According to the data released by the Health Department at 3:30 pm, there have been 12,481 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest since April 12. With this, the infection rate fell to 17.76 percent. The positivity rate in Delhi has been halved in the last 15 days. 70,276 tests were done in 24 hours.

 

 

According to the Health Department, 347 patients have died in the last 24 hours. With this, the total death toll from Corona in Delhi has crossed 20 thousand. So far, 20,010 patients have died in the city.

 

 

Currently, 83,809 patients are undergoing treatment. Of these, 51,480 patients are in home isolation. So far, 13,48,699 people have been infected with Corona in Delhi. Of these, 12,44,880 people have been cured.

 

 

On Monday, 12,651 new cases of the corona were reported in the city and 319 patients died. On Sunday, 273 patients died of the Coronavirus in Delhi and 13,336 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. On Saturday, 17364 new cases were reported and 332 patients died.

 

 

Friday - 19,085 people infected - 341 patients died.

 

 

Thursday - 19,133 people infected - 335 patients died.

 

 

Wednesday - 20,960 people infected - 311 patients died.

 

 

Tuesday - 19,953 people infected - 338 patients died.

 

 

Monday - 18,043 people infected - 448 deaths (records).

 

 

Lockdown is in force till May 17 in Delhi. The decision to impose lockdown was taken on April 19 in the city due to the sharp increase in the cases of Covid-19. At that time the infection rate in the city was around 35 percent.
