Pm Modi Speech on No Confidence Motion: The motion of no confidence brought against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government was rejected by voice vote on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi described violence-hit Manipur as a "piece of heart" and said all efforts would be made to restore peace in the northeastern state. Soon we will walk on the path of progress. He assured the people of the strife-torn northeastern state that peace would soon return as the government was doing everything possible to bring the accused to book.
Modi said, "Manipur's problems have been presented as if they started recently. The country is with you; this Parliament is with you. Together we will find ways to solve this challenge, soon again." Peace will prevail. I assure the people of Manipur that the state will again witness progress."
The Prime Minister also appealed to all opposition parties to join a collective effort to gain the confidence of the people of Manipur and asked them not to exploit the situation in the northeastern state for political gains. PM Modi asked the opposition to 'work together' to restore peace and normalcy in Manipur.
PM Modi said, "I would like to request the Members of Parliament to understand the value of this time. Come and move forward together. There have been more serious issues in the past in this country, but we have found a way to work together." Have found a way. Let's come together." Take the people of Manipur into confidence. Don't take advantage of Manipur to do politics. What happened in Manipur is unfortunate. Understand their pain and work to heal it."
He further said that serious crimes have been committed against women in Manipur and it is inexcusable. The Central and State Governments are doing everything possible to ensure the strictest punishment for the culprits. I want to assure the people of the country that peace will be restored and Manipur will move forward with renewed confidence.
