Patna, March 18 (IANS) No one can defeat BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan said Tuesday.
"Modi will emerge victorious with highest margin whether there is Aam Admi Party leader (Arvind) Kejriwal in fray or others. None can stop Modi from winning the seat," he said after arriving here from Delhi with his son Chirag Paswan.
The LJP chief, who recently joined the National Democratic Alliance, claimed that the Modi wave is such that there will be no contest at all in Varanasi.
"Modi's wave is sweeping across the country... anything in its way will be uprooted by his wave. Modi wave will make a history in the polls," said Paswan, who is contesting from his traditional Hajipur seat.
Chirag Paswan, who is contesting the Jamui seat and will file nomination papers Wednesday, said that Modi wave will not only help the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but also help its allies like LJP to win the polls.
"I am hopeful that Modi wave will give us advantage and there is no need to do more," said the actor-turned-politician.
The BJP has given LJP seven Lok Sabha seats to contest in Bihar, which has 40 seats.
