Over a hundred people have been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of two sadhus and a driver by a mob in the past days on suspicion of being a thief in Maharashtra's Palghar district. Meanwhile, in the Palghar lynching case, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that out of all those arrested in this case, not a single Muslim is there. State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said on Wednesday that not a single Muslim was among the 101 accused arrested and alleged that the opposition was trying to give it a communal color.

In his address via Facebook, he said that it is unfortunate that communal politics is taking place on the Palghar case. Without naming, he said that some people are dreaming of Mungeri Lal. This is not the time to do politics, but to fight the corona virus together.

He said that a special IG level officer of the CID is investigating the case. But I would like to say that the police arrested 101 people within 8 hours of the crime. We are releasing the names of the accused through WhatsApp today, there is no Muslim in that list.

High order inquiry

In fact, in the Palghar district of Maharashtra, the state government has ordered a high-level inquiry into the case of thrashing of three people on Thursday night on suspicion of being a thief. State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh gave this information on Sunday. Deshmukh has also warned not to give any communal color to this incident as two people are being described as sadhus among the three dead.

Deshmukh had tweeted, 'Police have detained 101 people involved in the murder of three people going to Surat in Palghar. I have ordered a high-level inquiry into the murder. ' Deshmukh said that the police is keeping a close watch on such people, who want to create disharmony in the society through this incident. Deshmukh said, "The people who were killed and attacked in the Palghar incident were not from different religions." Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter.

What is the whole lynching case of Palghar

In fact, two sadhus and a driver were murdered by a mob lynching around 200 people in Palghar, Maharashtra late Thursday night. Police said on this incident last Friday that this is the second such incident in three days. According to the police, the mob beat up both the monks and their drivers sitting in the eco van and thrashed them brutally. Assistant Police Inspector Anandrao Kale of Casa Police Station said that the van was coming from Nashik when an angry mob stopped near Gadhichanchale village on Dadhadi-Khanvel road.

Kale said that the mob first stopped the van and asked questions and then dragged and started beating them. The driver somehow called the police and the team reached the spot. Anand Rao Kale said, 'There were a large number of people in the crowd and we tried to save the sadhus and the driver but the mob attacked us and started throwing stones. The result of which was that the three died there due to beating. The deceased have been identified as Sushil Giri Maharaj (35), Chicane Maharaj Kalpavrukshgiri and driver Nilesh Telgade.
