While reprimanding the central government, the court said that it is very wrong to deprive women officers of opportunity by giving social and mental reasons. At the same time, Minister of State for Defense Shripad Naik had said that whatever the order of the Supreme Court will be, the government will take it seriously. The Supreme Court had also said that women should be deployed at command posts like men.
