Pan Aadhaar Link Status Online: If you have not yet linked your Aadhaar card with your PAN card, then there is news of some relief for you. The government has extended the last date for linking Aadhaar with PAN by three months. That is, now the last date for their linking is June 30, 2023. In such a situation, if you have not done this work, then complete it as soon as possible.

 

Today we are going to tell you about its check status process for whether your Aadhaar is linked to your PAN card or not, with the help of which you can link your Aadhaar card with your PAN card through an online process sitting at home.

Whether your PAN card is linked with your Aadhaar card or not can be known online. For this, the link status can be known by just following some easy steps.

 

1. First of all visit the Income Tax e-filing portal https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/.

 

2. Select Quick Links on the homepage, in which select the option of Link Aadhaar Status.

 

3. After selecting the Link Aadhaar Status option, enter the PAN and Aadhaar number, following which a pop-up message will appear.

 

4. If Aadhaar and PAN are linked, a message will appear – Your PAN is already linked with the given Aadhaar. If not, a message will appear – PAN is not linked to Aadhaar.

 

5. Then click on 'Link Aadhaar' to link Aadhaar with PAN, after which the message Aadhaar-PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for verification.

 

6. Check the status later by clicking on 'Link Aadhaar Status'.

 

Status can also be checked through SMS

If you do not want to go through the online process through the website, then its status can also be checked through SMS. For this, the taxpayer has to send an SMS to 567678 or 56161. After this, information about whether Aadhaar is linked to PAN or not will be available.
