On India getting the presidency of the G20, Biden said – the two countries will work together to tackle global challenges

US President Joe Biden has described India as a strong partner of America. Has said that he will fully support his friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the presidency of G20 countries. Let us tell you that for the year 2023, India has got the presidency of G20, the world's 20 most prosperous and industrialized countries. On Thursday, India formally became the chair of the G20.

 

On this occasion, President Biden tweeted that he is also seeing a sequence of development in improving relations with India. Together, the two countries will take forward the work on global challenges - environment, energy, and food problems. On Thursday, Prime Minister Modi said that he is looking at the opportunity of chairing the G20 as an opening of new possibilities. India is willing to work together with everyone with the concept of One Earth, One Family, One Future.

 

Mentioning the challenges of the future, Modi said that terrorism, climate change, and epidemics are the biggest challenges of the present time, and we have to fight them together. Prime Minister Modi said the priorities of G20 will be decided together with the allied countries. But it will also take care of the interests of our comrades from the South, whose voices often go unheard. India's agenda for the G20 is inclusive, ambitious, and action-oriented for the benefit of the entire world.

 

The US administration is working tirelessly to remove the difficulties faced by Indians in getting US visas. In this effort, efforts are being made to reduce the time taken to get a US visa. This was stated by Elizabeth Jones, the US Ambassador to India. He termed the present situation in this matter as bad. Be aware that at present Indians have to wait for a long time to get an American visa.

 

Especially the time taken in getting B1 (Business) and B2 (Tourism) visas are troubling Indians. Jones said, reducing the time it takes for Indians to get visas is a priority issue for the US administration. It is the effort of America that Indians should get visas soon for jobs, training, etc.
