On 15 June, there was a clash of soldiers. 20 soldiers of India were martyred. It is claimed that 43 Chinese soldiers were also killed. However, he did not confirm this.

15 June: Military skirmish

 

On June 6, in a conversation between the commanders of India and China, it was decided that the soldiers of the two countries would return to the old positions. On the night of 15 June, India Colonel Santosh Babu went with the soldiers to see if the Chinese troops returned as per the agreement. Chinese soldiers were present there. Babu opposed this. During this time, Chinese soldiers attacked under the plot. Our 20 soldiers were martyred. The Government of India accepted this. Modi said - Soldiers died while beating.

 

17 June: Air Force Chief arrives in Leh

Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria visited Leh on 17 June and Srinagar Airbase on 18 June. Both these airbases are near the eastern Ladakh region. He said- the Air Force is ready to deal with any threat. The Air Force deployed Sukhoi-30 MKI, Mirage 2000 and Jaguar Fighter aircraft to the forward base. Also deployed aircraft such as Apache and Chinook.

June 21: Important change in strategy

Amid growing tension in Ladakh, the Ministry of Defense gave an important order. It said that the field commanders posted at the forward posts can approve the use of weapons to their soldiers because of the situation. This was so special that in the two-kilometer area on the LAC, India, and China cannot use weapons (gun or firearms) under the agreement.

 

24 June: Army Chief arrives in Ladakh

26 June: America's big statement

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States is shifting its troops because of China's threat in India and Southeast Asia. Pompeo said - we are reducing the number of our troops in Europe. China refused to comment on the US statement.

June 30: China banned 59 apps

The Indian government banned 59 apps from China. This list includes apps like Tick Talk, UC Browser, Hello, and Share It. The government said - the servers of these Chinese apps exist outside India. Through them, users' data was being stolen. They also threatened the security and unity of the country. For this reason, it was decided to ban them. China said- this step of India is wrong. We will not ban anything on it.

 

02 July: Global Times claims

China's official newspaper Global Times claimed that India and China would reduce their troops in separate batches to reduce tensions. India did not react to this.
