Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday announced the launch of a major military operation against Iran. He said that this operation has been named Operation Rising Lion. Netanyahu said that the purpose of launching this operation was to eliminate the threat posed by Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
PM Netanyahu said that Israel has already attacked many important targets of Iran. He said that shortly before, Israel had launched Operation Rising Lion, which aims to reduce the Iranian threat to Israel's existence. Netanyahu said that this operation will continue until the threat is eliminated.

Netanyahu also made it clear that Israel will never allow any country that wants to destroy it to make nuclear weapons. Netanyahu confirmed that tonight we have attacked Iran's nuclear program and ballistic missile centers. These include the uranium enrichment facility of Natanz, the team of Iran's leading nuclear scientists, and ballistic missile bases.
Israel Launched Air Strikes on Iran: Katz
Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israel launched air strikes against Iran on Friday. He said that after the attack, a state of emergency has been imposed in Israel, as there is a threat of missile and drone attacks from Iran. Katz said that he has signed a special order, under which a special emergency will be imposed for security across the country. He has appealed to Israeli citizens to follow the instructions of the army and officials and stay in safe places.
