Congress's support for Bharat Bandh
Other opposition parties including Congress are also supporting this bandh. Congress has announced that protests will be held across the country today against this plan.
School-college closure orders in many states
Because of Bharat Bandh, orders have been given to close all schools in many states including Bihar, UP, and Jharkhand. Jharkhand's School Education and Literacy informed that because of the bandh, on June 20, all the states will remain closed because of the Bharat Bandh. He has taken this decision as a precaution.
In Bihar and UP also orders have been given to close all private and government schools and colleges during the Bharat Bandh. The Janata Darbar of CM Nitish Kumar to be held in Bihar on Monday has also been canceled.
Many trains were canceled due to violence
Amidst the ongoing protests over the Agneepath scheme, Eastern Railway has canceled all trains connecting Kolkata and other areas of Bengal. At the same time, all trains coming from Bandra in Maharashtra and Ahmedabad in Gujarat to Bihar have also been canceled. While the routes of some trains have been diverted. Many trains will remain canceled on Monday.
Mahindra will give work according to merit
Mahindra Group CEO Anand Mahindra tweeted that I am saddened by the violence over the Agneepath scheme. When the scheme was considered last year, I had said that the discipline and skill acquired by Agniveers would make them eminently employable. Mahindra will give a chance to Agniveers in his group.
A person asked on his tweet which post will be given to the Agniveers. On this, he said that there is immense scope for employment of Agniveers in the corporate sector. With leadership, teamwork, and physical training, Agniveer will provide market-ready solutions to the industry. It covers the entire spectrum from operations to administration and supply chain management.
AISA and RYA support Bharat Bandh in Bihar
The administration is on alert due to this news coming on social media. However, some student union organizations have supported the chakka jam of June 20. Which includes AISA and RYA. There is information from Muzaffarpur that the local administration has announced an alert because of the news of Bharat Bandh on social media.
Congress Satyagraha at Jantar Mantar
Earlier on Sunday, Congress organized a Satyagraha movement at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Many big leaders of Congress including Priyanka Gandhi participated in the satyagraha of Congress.
