The list of these states includes Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha.
Yellow alerts were issued in 13 states
Yellow alert for rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Assam, Meghalaya, Delhi NCR, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
