His father, Varinder Bachan, was also a Punjabi and Hindi music producer and composer of pop, folk music, and devotional songs, who also worked in Punjabi films like 'Jatt Punjab Da'.

B Praak started his career as a music producer. He then debuted as a singer with the song 'Mann Bharrya'. He made his debut as a singer in the Hindi film industry in 2019 with the song 'Teri Mitti'. This song from the film 'Kesari' is very popular. This song was filmed with Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra. It was written by Manoj Muntashir.
