Seeing every scene of the sequence, there was a lot of hooting in the theatre. However, netizens have now called some scenes in this sequence a carbon copy of Jackie Chan's animated video. While Pathan released in 2023, the cartoon series ran from 2001 to 2005. Videos of both are becoming increasingly viral on social media.

Netizens have claimed that the scene of Pathan and Tiger has been copied frame-by-frame from the cartoon series.
