He said, 'One of the disadvantages of globalization has been that the supply chain has become limited. Together we will try to make the supply chain also decentralized and democratic. Technology will determine security and prosperity. Europe is in the shadow of war because of the Ukraine crisis. There are many powers involved so the consequences are dire. Developing countries have been affected.

 

Expressed concern over the Russia-Ukraine war

PM Modi expressed concern over the Ukraine-Russia war. He said that war hurts people. Developing countries have also been affected due to the war between the two countries. Globalization has also suffered due to war. The supply chain has become limited. We have to make a concerted effort to decentralize and democratize the supply chain as well. Technology will determine security and prosperity. Europe is in the shadow of war because of the Ukraine crisis. There are many powers involved, so the consequences are dire. The PM said that I had openly said that this is not an era of war, but an era of dialogue and diplomacy. Together we must stop the bloodshed and the suffering of the people.

 

Pakistan is surrounded by terrorism

Regarding China and Pakistan, he said that the dark clouds of confrontation are also affecting the Indo-Pacific region. Stability in the region is our shared concern. We want happiness together. Even after the 9/11 attacks and the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, fundamentalism and terrorism are still a serious threat to the whole world. Terrorism is the enemy of humanity. There should be no ifs and buts to deal with it. We should fight together against those who sponsor terrorism and those who export terrorism. the world is changing. The world needs a new world order.

 

Targeting China regarding regional autonomy-India Pacific

PM Modi targeted China while referring to the Indo-Pacific region. The Prime Minister said that the global order is based on respect for the United Nations Charter, peaceful resolution of disputes, respect for sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He said that the stability of the Indo-Pacific region has become one of the central concerns of the partnership between the two countries. and both share a vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific.

 

Both leaders opposed unilaterally changing the status quo of the borders by force. Also emphasized respecting the autonomy and integrity of countries and following international law. The joint statement also made a statement regarding the observance of maritime laws and freedom of movement in the East and South China Seas.
