On Tuesday, the petrol pump owners of 24 states of the country had made a big announcement regarding the demand to increase the commission that on Wednesday, the last day of May, they would express their protest in this way. In this sequence, about 70 thousand petrol pump owners are protesting today. However, there is ample stock in the tanks of petrol pumps, so there is no apprehension of any disruption in the supply of petrol and diesel.

Fuel dealer organizations have expressed their opposition to not buying oil from companies in 24 major states. These include Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, besides North Bengal and Many dealers from UP, Madhya Pradesh are also involved.
What is the whole matter?
It is worth noting that according to the agreement between petroleum companies and dealer associations regarding commission, the margins of petrol-diesel dealers were to be revised every six months, but it has not been revised in the last five years i.e. 2017. . In such a situation, now their demand for increasing the commission has taken the form of protest.
