PM Modi's Gujarat visit: PM reaches Bhavnagar, attends mass marriage program 'Papa Ki Pari'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Nana Pondha in Valsad district on Sunday afternoon as part of a one-day visit to Gujarat. Here he started the BJP's election campaign by addressing a public meeting. After this, attended a mass marriage program in Bhavnagar in the evening. These 552 couples got married today. Here those girls were married, whose father's shadow has been lifted from his head. Because of this, this marriage program was named 'Papa's Pari'.

 

Said in Nana Pondha- 'My ABCD begins with A for tribal'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Nana Pondha in Valsad district as part of a one-day visit to Gujarat. Addressing a public meeting here, he said- This is my first program of the election campaign after the announcement of the date of the election in Gujarat. My ABCD itself starts with an A for Adivasi and I am happy that my first program has been kept among the tribal brothers and sisters. For this, I express my gratitude to the BJP leaders that BJP is starting this election with the blessings of tribal brothers.

 

Tribal daughters are becoming doctor-engineers

The PM further said- Talking about two decades ago, how backward was Gujarat. There was neither water nor electricity in many places in the state. After this, a terrible earthquake also occurred in Gujarat. Then people said – Gujarat has now covered the death sheet. But the Gujaratis did not lose heart. Together, based on their hard work, Gujarat has brought Gujarat to the top of the world map in terms of development. Tribal brothers and sisters united day and night in the development of Gujarat. Tribal brothers and sisters have done most of the work for the development of villages. Due to this, the tribal society of the entire Gujarat is on the path of development today. The daughters here, who earlier did not even go to school. Today she has become a doctor and engineer.

BJP set a target of winning 160 seats

This time the BJP has set a target of winning more than 160 seats out of 182 seats. Home Minister Amit Shah is reaching Gandhinagar on Thursday to decide the names of the candidates. The BJP has so far received the names of 4,340 people. A maximum of 1,490 are from North Gujarat. Saurashtra has 1,163, Central Gujarat has got 962 and South Gujarat has got the least biodata 725.

 

PM went on a Gujarat tour on 30 October

Earlier on October 30, PM Modi had gone to Gujarat on a three-day visit. On the first day of his visit, he laid the foundation stone of the country's first transport aircraft plant in Vadodara. On the same day, a bridge accident took place in Morbi late in the evening in which 135 bodies were recovered.

 

Got emotional while giving a speech in Kevadiya

On October 31, PM Modi was speaking on National Unity Day in Kevadiya. During this he became emotional. Said- I express my condolences to the families of those who had to lose their lives. Teams of NDRF, Army, and Air Force are engaged in the rescue work. People should have fewer problems, this is the effort.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Morbi on Tuesday, two days after the accident. Here he met the injured in the Civil Hospital and inquired about their condition. After this, he met the families who lost their loved ones in the SP office. He also held a meeting with the officers here. As soon as he came to Morbi, the PM first visited the spot and inspected the broken bridge on the Machhu river.
