PM's different style in Rajya Sabha: Modi said - new fraternity of agitators was born in the country and new destructive FDI came from outside

When Prime Minister Modi was speaking in the Rajya Sabha today, his style was different. He mentioned some new words. Such as agitators, foreign destructive ideology, and G-23. It also told how the nationalist Maithili Sharan would have written poems if he were today. Modi referred to 4 former Prime Ministers circling the opposition on the issue of farmers.

1. New fraternity surfaced in the country - agitators

The Prime Minister said, "We are familiar with some words - labor, intellectuals. I see that a new group has been born in this country for some time. A new community has emerged - agitators. You will see that whether the movement is for lawyers, students, laborers, this movement will be seen in every movement. There is a whole bunch of agitators. They cannot live without movement. They keep on finding ways to live by the movement. We have to recognize them. '

 

Modi said, "Such agitators reach everywhere and take ideological stands. Explains new ways. We all have to see that the country is saved from the agitating people. They are unable to create their movement. If someone's movement is going on, they sit there. All these agitators are parasites. '

 

2. Foreign Destructive Ideology

Modi said, "The country is progressing and we are talking about foreign direct investment, but a new FDI is seen from outside. This is the new FDI - Foreign Destructive Ideology. We need to be more aware to save the country from this FDI. '

 

The prime minister's point was on foreign celebrities ranging from climate activist Greta Thunberg to pop singer Rihanna who have recently supported the farmer movement through their social media posts.

 

3. Praise of Sikhs

The Prime Minister said, "Some people are trying to fill some wrong things in the minds of our Sikh brothers of Punjab. This country is proud of every Sikh. What did they not do for the country? Honor them less. Gurus have a great tradition. I have a chance to eat Punjabi bread, so I know. I have spent many years in Punjab. Some people try to mislead Sikhs. This will not benefit the country. '

 

4. Congress should not accept Ghulam Nabi's opinion as G-23

The Prime Minister quipped the Congress on the pretext of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said that I praise Ghulam Nabi Azad. He speaks softly, mildly. Never use harsh words. All MPs should learn from them. He praised the elections held in Jammu and Kashmir. I am grateful to you for this. But I am also afraid. I trust that your party members will take it in proper spirit. Do not reverse the opinion of G-23 by mistake. '

 

Here Modi's reference to the G-23 was towards the 23 Congress leaders who wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi in August 2020, saying that the party needs full-time leadership. Later, attempts were made to dismiss these leaders against the party line.

 

5. What would Maithili Sharan have done today?

Modi also mentioned the nationalist Maithilisharan Gupta. He said that this is an opportunity for all of us that we are entering the 75th year of independence. Chaudhary Charan Singh's statement reminded
