New Delhi, March 23 (IANS) Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Monday said police have received the report of forensic experts on data analysis of mobile phones of Sunanda Pushkar.
"We had sent certain equipments to the forensic science lab in Gujarat and received them back along with the report of the forensic science experts," Bassi said.
"After analyzing the facts, if needed, we will call Shashi Tharoor for further questioning," he added.
Mobile phones and call details of deceased Sunanda Pushkar and other people were sent to the laboratory in Gujarat for forensic tests.
Bassi said the police have retrieved some deleted texts from her electronic devices.
"We have retrieved some deleted evidence from her Blackberry, Twitter (accounts) and so on. We will see if there was any intentional deletion of texts or just a routine exercise,” he said.
“On the basis of the data received we have asked Facebook, Twitter and Blackberry to expedite the process of giving data to us,” Bassi added.
Pushkar was found dead in a luxury hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014, under mysterious circumstances. Police registered a murder case on January 1, 2015.
