Politics has now intensified over the violence in Birbhum, West Bengal. Many opposition leaders including BJP, Congress have started protesting against the TMC government. In the midst of all this, Mamta Banerjee reached Birbhum and met the families of those killed in the violence and also warned the accused. Mamta said that the suspects of the Rampurhat massacre will have to be searched. Everyone surrender or else the police will arrest. Big disclosure in the investigation report

 

At the same time, eight people, including three women and two children, were brutally thrashed before being burnt alive in Bogtui village of Birbhum district. This has been revealed in the post-mortem examination of the dead bodies. An official of the Rampurhat hospital said that as per the preliminary findings of the forensic experts who conducted the post-mortem and other tests of the bodies, the victims were first severely beaten up and then burnt alive.

Rs 2 lakh for repairing burnt houses

 

Apart from this, Mamta Banerjee announced a grant of Rs 2 lakh each to improve the houses that were burnt in the fire. He said that the families of 10 people who died would be given jobs.

The BJP has demanded the imposition of the President's rule from the central government because of the increasing violence in the state.

 

Congress demanded the implementation of Article 355

 

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has also demanded the implementation of 355 in the state. Article 355 empowers the Center to intervene if the law and order situation in the state is disturbed. The opposition has also demanded the resignation of Mamata Banerjee.
