Publicist Flynn Remedios, through a post on X, has requested Mumbai Police to look into the case of actress Poonam's alleged death. He has said that the news of the actress's death due to cervical should be found out and after investigation, if any criminal case is made out then file an FIR under the Indian Penal Code as well as other appropriate sections of the IT Act and for doing a publicity stunt.
Remedios also said that if the police do not take any action then he will approach the appropriate court. "This publicity stunt is a clear case of fake news on a large scale and action must be taken," he said. A criminal case is pending against Poonam at the Canacona police station for obscenity in South Goa. Remedios said he is out on bail in that case and that local police in Canacona are unaware of his whereabouts.
