The Special Task Force has recovered a large consignment of RDX from Dhanoa Kala village near the International Indo-Pak border. With this, the conspiracy to make a big blast during the Punjab assembly elections of Pakistan has been foiled. Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI and Khalistani terrorists have sent the said RDX to blast during the elections. The caught RDX is said to be more than 5 kg. STF officials and local police are busy gathering clues about the accused, who had to pick up a consignment of RDX and secure a haven.
Security agencies alert, four suspects round up
After the recovery, the security agencies are on alert and are on the lookout for the smugglers living on the border. On the other hand, four suspects are being rounded up and interrogated. The STF had received information that RDX has been hidden in the fields of Dhanoa Kala village. The STF took possession of the said field of RDX. It is noteworthy that the security agency is continuously recovering grenades, RDX weapons, and heroin for the last 5 months in the area connected with the border.
A day earlier, 2.5 kg RDX was caught from Gurdaspur
